Each year TLI selects a group of promising leaders across multiple districts to take part in a year-long, fully-funded School Leader Cohort (SLC). The School Leader Cohort builds instructional capacity and fosters systemic school improvement.
SLC begins in the summer with a leader institute where school leaders begin vision setting, planning and honing their coaching skills. The cohort continues throughout the year with weekly one-on-one coaching and a number of off-site professional development days where leaders learn together and collaborate.
