Cleveland Public Schools is hosting the 2nd annual Cleveland Regional Novice Teacher Institute in partnership with TLI. These two weeks will provide a crash course in the goals of teaching as it aligns to the coaching scope and sequences developed by TLI.  

Novice teachers can be within the first three years of teaching. This comprehensive (85 hour) induction experience centered around classroom culture, content planning, student engagement, and demonstration of learning. Teachers will ultimately create the following outputs: Classroom culture and management plan Unit 1 plan and assessment Sample lesson plan Week 1 and 2 plan Discounts for groups are available. In this two day training, instructional leaders learn and practice the basics of instructional coaching. Engage in a variety of activities that help them to observe classrooms effectively, select narrow action items, and build knowledge, skills, and mindsets in teachers.
